The G/L Direct Chart of Accounts grid provides a means of visually linking a tax return to a trial balance. The grid is laid out and navigated similar to a spreadsheet. Grid features allow you to quickly isolate specific items in the chart of accounts. You can do any of the following in the grid:
- Review and maintain trial balance account data
- Assign tax codes
- Select entity/property numbers
- Choose grid options
- Print reports
Through the use of tax codes, accounts in the chart of accounts can be assigned, unassigned, or reassigned to lines on a tax return. Accounts can be added to or removed from the chart of accounts.
